SEPTEMBER 20 - HOOT monthly flash fiction mini contest - 30% of submission $$

HOOT is a literary magazine on a postcard! We publish flash fiction, non-fiction and poetry of <150 words. The writing is coolly/beautifully designed on the front of a postcard, which is perfect for hanging on a fridge or leaving playfully in places.

Our submission process is like a mini contest that ends the 20th of every month. For $2, you get two 150-word entries. Our winning author of that month gets 30% of the submission money that we received (along with publication and 5 copies of the issue which can be used as actual postcards).
