MAY 31, 2011 FLANNERY O'CONNER AWARD FOR SHORT FICTION $1000

Accepting collections of original short fiction. Manuscripts should be 40,000-75,000 words & should be accompanied by a $25 submission fee, manuscript will not be returned. Hard copy & electronic submissions accepted between April 1 & May 31. Open to both published and unpublished writers. No phone calls regarding the Flannery O’Connor Award will be accepted. $1000 & publication by the University of Georgia Press under a standard publishing contract.
