29 JULY 2011 ARTHRITIS CARE CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION £500 OPEN UNIVERSITY VOUCHER
by L BARBER
(LONDON)
Arthritis Care is launching its fifth annual creative writing competition. This year’s theme is If I were an Olympian. We’d like you to tell us what being mobile means to you and your arthritis. You might choose to focus your writing on accomplishments you have achieved, or exercise goals you are working towards. Or even imagine yourself competing in the Olympic Stadium
However you find your mobility affects you, write about it in our creative writing competition. Write a story or poem of up to 750 words, and submit by 29 July 2011 for the chance to have it printed in Arthritis News.
The winner will receive a £500 voucher from the Open University, to spend on a course of their choice. The winning entry will be published in a future issue of Arthritis News, and on our website.
You must be over 18 to enter. Only one entry per person. Full terms and conditions can be read at www.arthritiscare.org.uk/Creativewriting
Please send entries with your contact details including your telephone number to Creative@arthritiscare.org.uk or to Creative Writing Competition, 18 Stephenson Way, London NW1 2HD. If you have any queries regarding the competition, please call Lexy Barber on 020 7380 6521.
